Bogdan Bogdanovic injury update: out for four weeks
Bogdan Bogdanovic injury
Bogdan Bogdanovic’s recent hamstring injury has temporarily sidelined him from the Atlanta Hawks’ lineup. Following a non-surgical treatment at Emory Sports Medicine Complex, the Hawks confirmed that Bogdanovic will be evaluated again in about four weeks to assess his recovery.
His absence comes as the team faces the season’s early challenges, potentially impacting their offensive flexibility and depth. As the Hawks adjust their rotation, they’ll look to other players to fill the gap left by Bogdanovic’s reliable shooting and experience.
The Hawks announced that Bogdanovic (hamstring) underwent a non-surgical procedure Monday and will be re-evaluated in approximately four weeks.
Bogdanovic has missed Atlanta’s last three games while dealing with right hamstring tendinopathy but has now undergone a medical procedure to fix the issue. With Vit Krejci (adductor) and Kobe Bufkin (shoulder) also out for significant periods, Dyson Daniels (hip) and Garrison Mathews are candidates to receive increased playing time. At the earliest, Bogdanovic will be able to return to action in December.
